Shalon + Jason

Here are just a few images from Shalon and Jason’s day. The wedding was held in beautiful Freshwater, just outside of Carbonear, NL. Shalon grew up here and on the rocks in her backyard right on the ocean is where Jason proposed. Jason is a talented musician and he used his talent to compose a beautiful processional song for Shalon’s walk down the aisle. You can hear more of Jason’s compositions on the accompanying CD to his children’s book “The Stupendous Adventures of Gregory Green”. After the ceremony, went went back into the church where Jason played piano for his new bride. Anyone present could see the love between these two. I am very happy I was part of your day. Thank you! Oh, and in case you might be wondering, the rings are unlike any I had ever seen, they are made of oak wood. Shalon’s dress is made of hemp. Unique and friendly to the environment.

Melissa + Danny

You might remember Melissa and Danny from their engagement photos back last year. I was lucky to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding. Melissa was an absolutely radiant bride. I had a great time at the wedding, thanks to you both, your family and friends for creating a beautiful day and allowing me to be a part of it.

Hugs,
Donna

Tracy + Jamie

I love Tracy, Jamie, Jack and Ella. Tracy is friend of mine and she really inspires me with her artistic creativity, outgoing personality and absolutely beautiful family. I can go on and on, but I’ll keep it short and get to the pics. What a day!

PS. How about the new blog? Cool er wha? Well, it’s not new per se, just upgraded. I can get fancy with slideshows now and check that link to my facebook page on the left of the screen… it’s like magic when you mouse over it ;). So, let me test this new fancy blog out with a sparkley flash slideshow.

Keep positive vibes flowing around yourself and the whole world will be a better place… that’s all I got to say today!
Peace n Love!

Erica + Brian

I was really confused when I met Erica and Brian because they weren’t married, as far as I knew, and they had the same last name. Well, turns out the were just born with the same last name so that makes a few things easier haha. I take it as a sign that these two are just meant to be together. It was a beautiful day and as you will see Erica was a beautiful bride. Together with Brian, they made that Jaguar look good! Thanks for a great day :).

Deanne & Larry

Deanne and Larry… wow. Beautiful couple, beautiful day, I couldn’t ask for much more. There was a lot of love in the room during the ceremony and reception and I have to admit, I had to keep the camera in front of my face during Larry’s speech to Deanne, it was genuine, and so very sweet. I nearly cried. You guys have something special. Our day took us to the school where Deanne and Larry first started dating about 13 years ago, The Rooms, George Street and Quidi Vidi. Quidi Vidi is becoming one of my favorite locations mainly for the hospitality of the locals. I’ve been there three times so far this wedding season, first time we got invited onto a beautiful boat, second time we got invited into a mans little house he uses for fishing and we were allowed use of his private deck on the water. So this time we weren’t disappointed, we were kept smiling and completely entertained with a skipper who got out his ‘Ugly Stick’ to play a few Newfie tunes from his boat. Never a dull moment! Well, hope you enjoy a few of the photos, thanks Deanne and Larry for a great day!
