In October, I traveled to Ottawa to shoot one of my best friend’s wedding. Jodie and I have been friends for 20 years, hard to believe! Photographing her big day was pretty special for me. Well, as with some of my other girlfriends, I’ve lost her to a mainlander. This marriage now means I’ve pretty much given up hope that she will come back to me here on the Rock! Seriously though, it’s nice to see your friends so happy, even if I do selfishly wish they would both pack it up and move here. Our other friend, Anne, also traveled for the wedding. Thanks Jodie and Mark for putting us up. Thanks also for running around with me to camera stores the day before your wedding so I could buy all the stuff I forgot to take to Ottawa and for your spirited driving that got me to the train right on time lol ! Well, Jodie and Mark had a quaint fall wedding just outside of Ottawa. A beautiful ceremony was followed by a fantastic dinner catered by Issac’s 64 Hundred in Stittsville, ON.
